Muntons Black Malt – EBC 1200–1500

Black malt with similar base characteristics to Chocolate Malt, but with a much darker colour and a richer roasted profile. Adds coffee, burnt sugar and liquorice notes, ideal for Stouts, Porters, and other dark beer styles. Use sparingly (1–5%) to avoid harshness.

• EBC Colour: 1200–1500

• Usage: up to 5%

• Perfect for: Stout, Porter, Dark Ale, Schwarzbier
