Fermol Lime – Yeast for Fresh and Citrus-Driven White and Rosé Wines
Fermol Lime is a hybrid Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain, developed through an advanced selection project by the French Institute of Vine and Wine (IFV Nantes). It was created as part of a study that led to three innovative new yeast strains.
Perfectly suited for producing aromatic white and rosé wines, Fermol Lime creates wines with a distinct and expressive bouquet, characterized by citrus notes, particularly lime and orange peel, alongside herbal nuances. It enhances freshness and aromatic persistence, meeting the expectations of markets that seek clearly defined aromas and modern wine profiles.
