HOW IT'S DONE
We produce this malt at Bury St Edmunds in the United Kingdom. Melanoidin is produced with the same process as modified Ale malt with a certain color formation in germination due to the prolonged recirculation while the kilning is at higher temperatures for the development of flavor and color.
40 - 50 EBC. Offers intense aromas and colors to beer. It has a characteristic melanoidin content, producing dark and aroma-rich malts with deep flavors of hazelnut, malt and biscuit.
