LalBrew® Wit yeast is a relatively neutral variety that can be used to produce a wide variety of wheat beer styles.


The production of esters and phenols is lower than traditional hefeweizen varieties such as the Munich Classic. LalBrew®


Wit provides a basic profile of banana and spice flavors, but leaves room for the brewery to showcase other spice additions typical of Belgian-style beers.


Traditional styles made with this yeast include Belgian Witbier, American Wheat, Berliner Weiss, Gose, Hefeweizen, Dunkelweis, and Weizenbock, among others.
