Flakes of natural oak, allow to obtain the delicate aromas of aging in barrels of French oak making a light fruity and vanilla aroma. The oak chips are indicated in Inglese and Scotch Ales, in Stout, Porters, Brown IPA and some bitters; They are also used in some dark Belgian ale in style.
Are added to the beer or wine in maturation, it is recommended that a steam sterilization for about 15 minutes before use to avoid contamination, it is preferable to use a filter for hops to easily remove the product from the must. Alternatively, an infusion prepared by boiling in the oak flakes in a little water for 10-15 minutes and then add the filtered decoction in the mash depending on the intensity desired.

Dosage: 5 to 30 grams. for 10 liters of must.
