English – Strong Ale from Hopped Malt (Homebrewing Recipe)

Homebrewing recipe for Strong Ale from hopped malt. High-alcohol beer with intense aroma, featuring Cascade hops and bitter orange peel. Ideal for dry hopping enthusiasts.

Ingredients for 23 liters:

  • 1 can Woodfordes Nelson Revenge (hopped malt)

  • 1.5 kg light candy syrup

  • 20 g bitter orange peel (infuse 20 min)

  • 50 g Cascade hops (USA) for dry hopping

Yeast: 2 sachets LAX
Priming: 4 g/l

Instructions:

  1. Infuse orange peel in hot wort for 20 min.

  2. Add malt and hops as specified.

  3. Ferment with LAX yeast and perform dry hopping with Cascade.

  4. Bottle carbonate with 4 g/l sugar.
