Guarana has always been considered the "elixir of long life" of the Brazilian Indians, used as a tonic, aphrodisiac and stimulant in case of tiredness. With a characteristic bitter and astringent taste with a light coffee aroma, it is found as an ingredient in numerous thirst-quenching and energy drinks.
Use: finely chop the seeds and add them in the last 15 minutes of boiling; in hopped extract beers prepare a separate infusion in a little water and then mix in the must at the start of fermentation.
Dosages: from 20/25 gr. at a max of 50gr. in 23 lt. for an energizing effect
