Weyermann Carafa Special Type 2 malt

Roasted and hulled barley malt, thanks to this process the typical aroma of dark beers and their color are accentuated. It has less roasting bitterness than Carafa malts thanks to the special de-amarification process. Even using small quantities of Carafa Special malt, very sweet dark beers are produced with a thick and creamy foam.

Indicated in the Dunkel, Doppelbock, Dark Ales, Stout, Altbier.
