Pellet hop BRAMLING X
The English hop Bramling Cross is the product of a cross between the traditional Bramling of a Golding variety and the wild Canadian hop. What you get is an intensely fruity hop full of character that provides double uses in the production of beer in almost every style of beer. A rich aroma of blackberry, currant, plum makes the Bramling Cross a perfect ingredient in traditional beers and from Golden Ales to IPAs and Stouts. With an alpha acid range of 5% to 8%, this hop provides the right bittering balance. Other hops from the Golding family such as Whitbread Golding (WGV) and East Kent Golding offer some similar characteristics, and can be used instead of Bramling Cross.
