Removil Liquid is a liquid alkaline formulation with high causticity, suitable for the cleaning of closed
lines in all sectors of the alimentary industry and beverage bottling.
Removil Liquid is able to easily remove all residues of animal and vegetable fat, proteins, oil and
organic contaminations in general from the treated surfaces.
Removil Liquid contains components with a wetting action, which facilitate the washing action of the
alkaline part and enable to wash with working concentrations lower than with the utilization of sodium
hydroxide alone. The controllers of the water hardness (sequestering) enable to eliminate the negative
effects of waters with average hardness.
In order to optimize the results of washing cycles, in some sectors we suggest a subsequent descaling
acid phase, with a periodicity to be estimated.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Use Removil Liquid at concentrations from 0,8 to 3,0%, according to the kind and degree of the contamination. Even if, like all caustic products, Removil Liquid achieves its maximum activity at temperatures above 50°C, the formulation has shown excellent detergent and detartarising capacity even at room temperature, especially in the oenological sector. Final rinsing with drinking water till any possible residue of detergent is completely eliminated.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION For the alkaline washing of closed circuits, tanks and pipes, CIP plants, heat exchangers (pasteurizers, skimmers, evaporators). For the alkaline washing in washing tunnels and/or by immersion for moulds, trays and different containers. For the washing of fillers.
COMPATIBILITY OF THE FORMULATION
Removil Liquid is compatible with most material normally present in food industries, if used according
to the producer’s indications. Do not use on aluminium, copper, zinc-plated iron and surfaces treated
with phenolic resins. In case of doubt, carry out a test on the single material before using the product.
