The 0.5 micron stone is ideal for forcing the carbonation of beer or as an aeration stone before fermentation.
Usage Notes:
Thoroughly clean and disinfect the diffusion stones before and after each use. Boiling the stone for at least 5 minutes in clean water is the only reliable way to clean and disinfect it completely. It is important that the air that is introduced into the stone is clean to prevent contaminants from blocking the stone. Ensure a clean air source or install an air filter. Avoid touching the porous surface of the stone to prevent pores from clogging.
