CITRA pellet hops

One of the most widely used hops, Citra hop has a pungent flavor which is used in many beer styles. Grown from four different hops, including East Kent Golding and Tettnang (USA), this hop provides high levels of alpha acids and oils. This gives the Citra hop the characteristics to be a dual purpose hop both bitter and aromatic use and is commonly used in styles such as IPA and Pales Ales. Characterized by notes of orange, grapefruit, lemon and other wonderfully tropical fruit flavors that create an aroma that is absolutely unique. An alpha acid range from 11% to 13% provides the perfect bittering agent in boiling and reveals the aroma in dry hopping. If you want to replace this hop, you can do it with Centennial, Cascade and Chinook.
